Heather
Heather began dancing at age nine. Her dance world began with Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Michael Rooney, and Hama. This foundation set the tone and her world on fire! Heather’s career was centered on industrial shows that traveled throughout Europe and the US. She is most proud of her students whether they are pursuing careers in the performing arts or mainstream America. She takes great pride watching her students dance on their own stage, whether that's in a commercial, on Broadway, a cruise ship, with Disney, or in the corporate boardroom, in the operating room, a teacher, or a parent!
Heather is a founding member of New Vision Dance Center and has been teaching as long as she can remember! She primarily teaches jazz, technique and fitness and you’ll catch her working with the University of Oregon Dancers but has a soft spot for the littles. Heather’s favorite part of teaching dance is the life lessons taught. “It’s more than just dance!”
